Services Provided
WeCare Medical Centre offers a range of healthcare services, including Dentistry, Family Medicine, Gynaecology, IV Therapy, Men’s Health, Pathology, Physiotherapy, Radiology and Speech Therapy & Audiology. The specific services available to you will be determined based on your medical needs and the availability of our healthcare professionals.

Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current health status, and any other information necessary for your care.
• Follow the treatment plan and instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact information, medical aid details, or insurance coverage.
• Treat our staff and other patients with respect and courtesy.

Fees and Payment

• Fees for consultations and treatments are determined based on the services rendered. A detailed account will be provided at the end of each consultation.
• If you are a member of a medical aid scheme, it is your responsibility to ensure that your medical aid covers the services provided. Any shortfalls or amounts not covered by your medical aid are payable by you.
• Payments are due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Overdue accounts may incur interest charges as permitted by the National Credit Act No. 34 of 2005.
• A cancellation fee may apply if an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
• Unless explicitly stated in writing by the healthcare practitioner consulted, consultation fees apply solely to the consultation in question. Any subsequent consultations or follow-up appointments will be billed separately in accordance with WeCare Medical Centre’s applicable tariffs at the time of service.

Confidentiality and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal and medical information. Your data will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy. Your information may be shared with other healthcare providers involved in your care, medical aid schemes, or as required by law.

Consent to Treatment
By making an appointment to see one of out practitioners, you consent to the provision of medical services by our healthcare professionals. You have the right to refuse treatment and we will respect your decision unless it poses a risk to your health or the health of others.

Liability and Indemnity
While we strive to provide the highest standard of care, WeCare Medical Centre does not guarantee specific outcomes. You agree to release the medical centre, its staff, and affiliated entities from any liability arising from the provision of healthcare services, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Termination of Services
We reserve the right to discontinue providing services to you if:

• You fail to comply with these Terms.
• You engage in disruptive or abusive behaviour.
• You owe outstanding balances that remain unpaid despite reasonable efforts to collect.

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your treatment will be addressed through amicable negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with South African law.

Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
